Winter Lectures 2024-2025
Our 2023 – 24 season of lectures covers a fascinating breadth of local heritage topics
2nd Saturday of month 2.30 pm at the Rockfield Centre, Oban unless otherwise stated

* – John Campbell, Ledaig Bard, co founder of Oban Mod – October 12th 2024 – Victory Hall, Benderloch – his life by his great grandson, William Angus
* – Oban slideshow and (quick) AGM – PLEASE volunteer to join us to help the society
* – Crannogs by the Crannog Centre
* – North Argyll travellers culture and stories with Jess Smith
* – Our March event is a full day sharing the amazing local heritage of North Argyll, bringing together groups, sites, organisations to hear their news and activities.
* – Domhnall Uilleam Stiubhart, Senior Lecturer of Sabhal Mor Ostaig will be leading our second John MacFarlane Memorial lecture of Gaelic in the Landscape in April.
